TricorBraun, one of North America’s largest providers of jars, bottles and other rigid packaging components, has appointed Charles J. Pfister as chief financial officer. Pfister, who will be based in the firm’s St. Louis headquarters, is responsible for the firm’s finance, corporate administration and human resource groups. Prior to joining TricorBraun, he had been senior vice president of finance for Kohl’s Corporation where he was responsible for financial planning and analysis as well as the company’s treasury, tax and investor relations departments. He was employed at Kohl’s from 2008 to 2012. From 2001 to 2008, Pfister was a vice president for The Home Depot. He graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana, in 1987 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics with an emphasis in accounting. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1989.
